WHAT'S Happening?
UPCOMING PROJECT LAUNCH EVENTS:
RAW invites Project Launch Mentors to join us for the Winter Holiday Party on December 17th from 4:00-6:00 pm! This will take place on the 1st floor during our usual workshop time. The Class of 2026 and their Mentors are welcome to enjoy food, games, and get in the winter spirit here before break. Totally optional, but mentors are welcome to join in on the fun!
UPCOMING MENTOR TRAININGS:
MMP introduces “Mentor Circles” — virtual, off-hours opportunities for Project Launch Mentors to connect with other mentors, build knowledge, and practice skills related to being the best mentor you can be. MMP will host monthly on the 3rd Thursday!
November 20th from 5:30-7:00 pm: Mentor Circle: Practicing Cultural Humility, A Chapter of Becoming a Better Mentor
December 18th from 5-6:30 pm:
Mentor Circle: Goal Setting and Support, and Effective Conversations for Behavior Change

Looking for activities to do with mentees?
Saturday, November 22 (10am-5pm) +
Sunday, November 23 (11am-4pm): Looking for a fun + free arts event? Meet your mentee at Open Studios. Showcasing 40+ artists and craftspeople, a great opportunity to engage with local artists, purchase their work, and discover the stories behind their creations.

Libraries: Lynn Public Library, Swampscott Public Library, Beverly Public Library
Cafes: One Mighty Mill, Starbucks, Panera, Periwinkle’s, Dunkin, Walnut St, Union Cafe
Colleges & Universities: North Shore CC, Salem State, BU, Suffolk, Emerson, Endicott, Montserrat College of Art, MassArt — schedule an admissions tour in advance!
Museums: Lynn Arts + Museum, Peabody Essex Museum, ICA, Salem Arts Association, MFA, Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum — request passes from local libraries!
Outdoor Spaces: Lynn Woods, Rose Garden, Kings Beach, Nahant Beach, Commons
Sporting Events: Red Sox, Celtics, North Shore Navigators, or sporting events at their high schools!
